Candidate Status
All Saints Bible College (ASBC)
All Saints Bible College (ASBC) has been granted Candidate Status by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). ABHE is the national accrediting association that accredits over 100 Bible colleges and Christian universities, including most Christian Church institutions.
The Advantages of Candidacy include:
- The College can meet the Standards for Initial Accreditation within four years
- The College is a member of an accrediting association recognized by the U. S. Department of Education
- The College is eligible to apply for Federal Student Aid (grants and loans)
- Military-related benefits granted to ASBC students
- ASBC students may transfer credits to other educational institutions
- Graduates of ASBC accepted into graduate programs
- Employer granted tuition reimbursement for their employees to study at ASBC
- Corporations may now make matching gifts to ASBC when their employees donate
- Foundations may be more likely to approve grants to ASBC
- Easier for ASBC to recruit students and secure faculty
- ASBC listed as a member (with Candidate status) of a nationally recognized accrediting association
