- Consideration of applicants for the 2010 AIM Academic Scholarship shall be limited to graduating high school seniors or first year college students majoring in or having strong emphasis in Math, Science, English, etc., who is a member in good standing with a local Church Of God In Christ ministry and an AIM attendee. (No exceptions!)
- Applicants must submit a letter of reference from his/her Pastor.
- Applicants must meet the criteria for admission to the College/University of his/her choice, and provide proof of enrollment and/or a Letter of Acceptance.
- Applicants must be a full time student at the College/University of their choosing. (A full time student is defined as a student carrying a minimum of 12 semester credit hours.)
- Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) or higher. (Official Transcript required)
- Applicants must submit an essay, minimum of 200 words, typed and double spaced declaring your major and “Why you should be the chosen recipient of the 2010 COGIC AIM Academic Scholarship.” Give a brief description of how you plan to give back to your local ministry, and what your future career goals are.
- All applications for scholarships shall be screened prior to the 2010 AIM Convention and Applicants shall be subjected to an Oral Interview by the Scholarship Evaluation Board during the AIM Convention. Applicants must provide a cell or contact telephone number and be present at the AIM Convention on or before Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at a designated time for interviewing. (The location of the interview shall be announced nightly during the AIM Convention and displayed on the Video Screen.)
- All letters of application must be postmarked no later than Monday, June 7, 2010. Applicant’s failure to follow all instructions can seriously jeopardize consideration.

The COGIC AIM Academic Scholarship is designed to support, promote and celebrate Academic Excellence operating in the body of Christ. We are committed to the standard of Higher Education of our young people. We are firm believers that as we sow into the lives of those who are young, gifted, educated and anointed, we are building up the next generation of our great Church, and celebrating our legacy as a people and Christ Centered Organization.
Award Summary Statement and Disclaimer
Decisions of the COGIC AIM Academic Scholarship Evaluation Board and that of its judges shall be final. Scholarships tendered shall not be construed as “Full Rides” or as “the lone means” of college tuition. Students may apply for any or all three areas of AIM Scholarships (Academic, Creative Arts or Florida University); however, only one area will be awarded. Decisions related to compensatory amount of scholarship and distribution of the same are final and shall be determined by the Scholarship Evaluation Board in concert with the Chairman of the International AIM Convention. The COGIC AIM Academic Scholarship Evaluation Board shall base its awards primarily on academic achievement; however church, community service and recommendations of financial need shall also be weighed.

Documentation (Required)
APPLICATION: All applications must be typed or printed in black ink. Applications shall include your full name, address and daytime/cell telephone number as well as the name, address and telephone number of your parent or legal guardian. The application must be fully completed in order to be considered. The application may be computer generated and reproduced.
TRANSCRIPT: All applicants must submit an official copy of their high school or college transcript along with the application.
RECOMMENDATIONS: All applicants must submit one letters of reference from their Pastor. No letter may be written by a relative or a member of the COGIC AIM Academic Scholarship Committee.
