The International Auxiliaries In Ministry Convention (AIM), the annual summer convention of the multi-million member Church Of God In Christ, Inc., will convene July 5 – 9, 2010 in Charlotte, North Carolina. AIM is expected to attract over 30,000 delegates for a week of training, fellowship and spiritual renewal.
Under the spirited leadership of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, and Superintendent J. Drew Sheard, International AIM Chairman, the mission of AIM is to advance Kingdom work through spiritual enrichment, in-depth training, Christian education, family fellowship, evangelism and discipleship.
The triad conventions of Music and Youth, Missions and Evangelism and Sunday School will bring together people of all ages from throughout the United States and 59 countries abroad. Auxiliaries meet daily in separate sessions with all convening each evening for powerful preaching, praise and worship and anointed music services.
Activities and opportunities for family involvement include Scholastic Motivation, Bible Bowl, Spelling Bee Competitions, Math, Drill Teams, Basketball Tournaments, Pageants, along with musicals featuring noted Gospel artist.
Curriculums encourage learning for the advancement of kingdom expansion and the development of the mind, body and spirit.
Events will begin on Saturday, July 3rd, with pre convention activities and the official opening on Monday, July 5th, hosted by the North Carolina Local AIM Committee.
