COGIC Charities needs your help! COGIC Charities Inc., a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, has reached out successfully to thousands of people and offered financial assistance and emotional support during times of need and desperation. The organization also gives over $100,000 annually in scholarships. Giving is a great reflection of the interests and diversity of the fourth largest denomination of Christians in the world. We have leaned on corporate support heavily for most of our existence. However, as the needs grow worldwide, so must our donor base. This is why we are now asking for your support.

Many people think that COGIC Charities exists only to help those who are members of the congregation. However, this benevolent arm of the Church Of God In Christ is a completely separate unit designed to do God’s work among all of His people.

IN THE PAST COGIC CHARITIES HAS:

• Supported mission programs in 58 foreign countries;
• Provided over $500,000 for college-bound students;
• Supported Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims with over $1 million dollars;
• Provided a grant to Save Africa’s Children;
• Provided a grant to Women’s Health Initiative Uganda;
• Donated over $1 million in support of the Tsunami victims hit on the African continent with specific donations made to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organizations (UNFACO) and the Horn of Africa Relief Organizations (Horn Relief).

While we have done great work as a small but growing organization, there is still an enormous need to do more. This year alone there have been many devastated by natural disasters, economically crippled or looked over for financial assistance for college. With support of members within the COGIC denomination, we see the purpose of the organization fulfilled.
