Vision Statement:
To effect the world by the spreading of the Gospel
Mission Statement:
The mission is to proclaim to the lost that to the utmost Jesus saves. The trained Evangelist will move hurriedly with anointed enthusiasm. Yes, knowing that God will give the fortitude to withstand the wiles and snares that will try to obstruct the spreading of the gospel message. The responsibility of the International Department of Evangelism will be to maintain professional excellence in presenting the Word of God.
Welcome
This website has been developed for those interested in answering the call of Evangelism: Our faith in prayer tells us: “If we call upon God in the day of trouble, he will deliver” Psalm 50:15. “Call upon me and I will answer thee, and I will show thee great and mighty things”, Jeremiah 33:3.
The course of the Evangelism Department has already been charted and is within the divine plan of God. The blueprint has been uniquely outlined. This Ministry is not afraid of difficulties. To the contrary, God has equipped this Ministry to withstand and overpower the horrendous negative forces.
Witnessing and sharing is the ultimate goal of the Evangelism Ministry. We stand on the promised Word of God. It is with God pouring out upon us, that we are able to give our best to others. His abundant grace causes us to bless others. In turn, these blessings come back to those who we bless.
The International Department of Evangelism is responding with might and vigor. The awesomeness of God has prepared us to act and respond quickly to the demands, and crisis at hand; giving the “only answer” to these problems, Salvation.
Pastor W. James Campbell
President
International Department of Evangelism
Church Of God In Christ, Inc.

Pastor Campbell,
There is an anointed evangelist in our congregation that I’m seeking information as to how to have him registered with the church as an evangelist. He is an ordained elder and has his credentials; is it just a matter of him stepping out as an evangelist as an ordained elder?
Where’s Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole?
I would like to know why on the History of the Department of Evangelism it states that everyone was appointed President, but Pastor Dennis Martin. Why does it state he assumed the Department, he did not assume the Department he was appointed by the late Bishop G.E. Patterson, January 19, 2005. I hope someone will correct this in the history of the Department of Evangelism. Thank you.
Elder James
The freedom of worship! The exilirating fellowship! The comfort of true leadership! The peaceful expectations of Good things from God! To wit: AIM 2009 Evangelist Department! AND…we have had successful-togetherness ministry since we left the meeting. I left with the distinct feeling that our department was connected with the love of God and purpose that is covered by the blood of Jesus. Nice.
Way to Go president Campbell & Staff
I would like any information on this department.
We are ready to work and want to be on the same page.
Glad to see the new administration moving forward with the web-site. It is important for me as a local President of the Evangelist Department in Indianapolis. Along with my Co-president to have up to date information to pass along to our local Evangelist Department.
Congratulations to Pastor Willie James Campbell, and Evangelist Rita Womack. I look forward to the growth of this department on an international level.
Be Blessed!!!
