I pray that this letter reaches you in great health and spiritual prosperity.

Our Mission and Evangelism (ME) Convention is rapidly approaching and we are excited about what God has in store for us. The Evangelism leadership team and I are working diligently to make this convention the best in the history of the Department of Evangelism. I wanted to provide you with some highlights of the convention and share what you can do to help make it successful.

I invite you to join us at 8 a.m. for Morning Glory; you will be blessed by an anointed Word from the Lord. After which, you will have the opportunity to choose from a host of educational classes to enhance your Evangelism abilities. We have assembled some of the brightest minds in the Church to equip you with the tools that you need to evangelize the world for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Official Day Service for the Department of Evangelism will be on Wednesday, July 1^st at 11:15 a.m. The colors for this day are white and gold for both men and women. Please keep me in your prayers as I minister on that day. On Thursday, we will honor Bishop Carlos L. Moody, President of the International Mission Department, I encourage every member of the Evangelism Department to support and honor Bishop Moody. Friday, July 3^rd, our International Elect Lady, Rita Womack, will be ministering under the power of the Holy Ghost. You do not want to miss any of the services.

The Revival Fire services will take place at the Tampa Convention Center at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday. Our Assistant International Elect Lady, Dorinda Clark-Cole will preside over these services. Outstanding speakers will minister nightly along with Evangelist Cole. Please plan to end your day on fire!

Make plans to attend the Annual Mission and Evangelism Breakfast on Thursday, July 2^nd at 7 a.m. at our headquarter hotel the Hyatt Hotel. The tickets are $25 and will be available for purchase each day during the ME convention.

The nightly AIM services will be held at 7 p.m. at the Convention Center. On Thursday, Chairman J. Drew Sheard will share with us from the Word of the Lord and Friday, our International Presiding Bishop, Charles E. Blake, will impart a Rhema Word {Blessings will flow in the house}. The Department of Evangelism desires to be a blessing to our Presiding Bishop, Charles Blake by giving him a remarkable love offering. I ask each evangelist to bring a love gift of $125.00. If you can not attend the convention, please mail your gift to my attention at: Office of the President, 640 W. 118^th Street, Chicago, Il 60628. Please make checks payable to the Department of Evangelism and indicate that this gift is for our Presiding Bishop.

The Finance Office will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily. All Department of Evangelism reports should be made in the Evangelism Finance Office. A Jurisdictional report to the Department of Evangelism is expected from each State President and State Elect Lady. These reports help us to do the work of the Lord throughout the year. You will be able to secure your 2009-2010 International Department of Evangelism Membership Cards during the convention. Registration will be open at the booth outside of the finance office on the 1^st floor level.

I will be sharing more information with you during the convention about our upcoming Evangelism Retreat. I am asking for the entire Department of Evangelism to join me in prayer for the success of our convention during the week of June 22^nd. Each day spend time in prayer for God’s Anointing and Presence to visit us during the convention. Our Theme is from I Corinthians 9:19-22. Godly strategies with the anointing of the Holy Ghost will allow us to reach the World for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement:
The mission is to proclaim to the lost that to the utmost Jesus saves. The trained Evangelist will move hurriedly with anointed enthusiasm. Yes, knowing that God will give the fortitude to withstand the wiles and snares that will try to obstruct the spreading of the gospel message. The responsibility of the International Department of Evangelism will be to maintain professional excellence in presenting the Word of God.

This website has been developed for those interested in answering the call of Evangelism: Our faith in prayer tells us: “If we call upon God in the day of trouble, he will deliver” Psalm 50:15. “Call upon me and I will answer thee, and I will show thee great and mighty things”, Jeremiah 33:3.

The course of the Evangelism Department has already been charted and is within the divine plan of God. The blueprint has been uniquely outlined. This Ministry is not afraid of difficulties. To the contrary, God has equipped this Ministry to withstand and overpower the horrendous negative forces.

Witnessing and sharing is the ultimate goal of the Evangelism Ministry. We stand on the promised Word of God. It is with God pouring out upon us, that we are able to give our best to others. His abundant grace causes us to bless others. In turn, these blessings come back to those who we bless.

The International Department of Evangelism is responding with might and vigor. The awesomeness of God has prepared us to act and respond quickly to the demands, and crisis at hand; giving the “only answer” to these problems, Salvation.
