   I really did enjoy the convocation and being in the choir. I love to sing praises to the Lord. The fellowship is outstanding and a blessing. However,I must admit that I was a little disappointed with some of the music. I was in the rehearsals they went well but there were so many people that did not come to rehearsal that made us sound horrible. Looking at the tapes that I bought it is evident that a lot of people did not know the songs. I love the new music that is being played today. I just thought that some of the familiar songs, churchy songs should have been a part of our services. You are blessing to us we love you and may God continue to Bless and Keep You.

   I am still excited about what God has done and continues to do with in our IMD. Your leadership knowledge, skills, and ability has not gone unnoticed. The organization of the IMD has improved greatley.This years convocation was a joy to be apart of.

   Thank you Dr. McAllister for your excellent leadership and the quality of music chosen for each service. It was refreshing to hear new music and see the variety of COGIC members participating by directing and leading songs.

   I am still being blessed by the prescence of the Lord that we experienced during the 102nd Holy Convocation. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to sind in the choir. I treasure every spiritual level that God has taken me to through my church, the Church of God In Christ. I also thank God for the wonderful gifts and talents that he has given to the saints, especially Dr. Judith McAllister. Thank you Dr. McAllister for obeying God in using the gift that he has given to you. I am looking forward to the 103rd Holy Convocation in 2010.

   I thoroughly enjoyed all of the songs taught this year. I was so excited that all of the songs taught were actually performed by the choir in one of the services. I loved the variety of music. I do not feel that we always have to perform the top 10 for the ministry of music to be a blessing to the worship service.

   I was so happy with the variety of music from the Heritage Singers to the Accappella singing of the Chorale. There are so many genre’s and so many people in our church that enjoy different types of genre’s and I felt that the music rendered, covered all bases, from Gospel to ballads, to psalms, hymns to sprituals to praise and worship, and sheet music alike. I hope this continues. There was something for everybody, for the readers and the non-readers of music. The trained voices and the not so trained, to learn. God Bless The Musical Staff of IMD, I’m Proud.
