• Saturday, November 7, 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (in the Gymnasium)

Saturday, November 7, 4:00 p.m. Orchestra Cookout following rehearsal!!

II. Registration:

All Orchestra Members $20.00 per person

Registration will be held at the rehearsal site on:

Sunday Morning – November 8, Official Day Celebration

Symphony of Praise Concert Prior to Official Day Service 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.

Official Day Celebration, 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Fed Ex Forum

Monday, November 9th Holy Communion Service

9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Cook Convention Center

IV. Ministry Dress: Orchestra Dress Code

All musicians are to wear “worship worthy” attire, being appropriately adorned in clothing which

will not hinder their effectiveness or distract others from worshipping.

Women:

Thursday Night & Sunday Morning Official Day Celebration:

All black long sleeved dresses, hosiery, black shoes

Monday Morning Holy Communion:

All white long sleeved dresses, hosiery

Men:

Thursday Night, Sunday Morning Official Day Celebration & Monday Communion:

Black tuxedo or suit, white wing tip shirts, black bow tie, black socks/black shoes

As we excitedly approach our 102 Holy Convocation, I want to share some directives regarding my expectations for all musicians:

If you desire to be a part of the Liturgical Praise Dance Ministry please remember to bring your uniform to the National Holy Convocation. When ordering please allow enough time for delivery to ensure you have your dress before the convention.

As you are aware, the International Music Department plays a vital role in each service and as the Levitical priesthood, we certainly need to seek the Lord for His anointing on our lives, on our music ministry as a whole and within our services. To achieve this goal, we will embark upon a 2-week period of Consecration – which will begin on Sunday, October 18 and conclude on Saturday, October 31.

The purpose of the New Artist Showcase is to give an opportunity for COGIC recording artists to display their music ministry in the historic Wednesday late night musical of the Holy Convocation.  Please click on the button below to download your Artist Extravaganza Requierments and Registration Form

Can’t make it to rehearsal? In preparation for the 102^nd Holy Convocation, you can listen and rehearse the Anthem online. Play the files as often as you like, soprano, alto, tenor and bass. The words to the Anthem are posted below. If you have any problems playing the files please let us know by using the feedback post below. Check back for additional songs or downloads.
