Greetings to all IMD Members:

What a time we had in Tampa! I am so grateful to God for His visitation during the 2009 AIM Convention; and I want to thank all of you who contributed with your prayers and/or your participation. To each one of you, please know that I love and appreciate you. Your faithfulness enabled us to lead the services with excellent music ministry; and I am grateful for your dedication to the International Music Department (IMD). Welcome to the International Music Department for the Church of

God in Christ.We are so honored that you have taken pause within

your busy day, to pay us a visit. As a department we will centralize

our focus on JESUS and HIS kingdom; and this focus will be the goal

of all departmental activities. We will endeavor to remove attention

away fromman and/or tradition, realizing that the commandments

of God take precedence over the traditions of man.

Please feel free to visit our webpage again and again, as we will

frequently update to provide information and inspiration, with the

expectation that your experience while here on the IMD website will

continue to be an uplifting one.

International Music Department

During the AIM Convention, the International Youth Choir is featured during a spectacular YOUTH-ON-THE-MOVE Musical Extravaganza. Worship is in another dimension. God is well-pleased!  Youth song writers from all over the country have an opportunity to submit original material and have the International Youth Choir to sing during this time of worship and praise.

All song writers must be registered members of the International Youth Choir.   Song writers, if you have a song you would like to submit to the choir, please make sure your song fits the following criteria:

• The song must be submitted by the writer. (It must be your song)
• Songs that are arranged, must have an official release from the original writer, or the song must be public domain
• Lyrics should be written clearly or typed and they should be mailed along with the CD.
• CDs should be clear, and contain the entire song verses, chorus, bridge, and tag
• Please also include your home, Church and Pastoral contact information.
