Pastor Michael J. Fowler
Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction
Bishop R. J. Ward – Jurisdictional Prelate
In an era largely devoid of godly principles and values, Pastor Michael J. Fowler has taken a stance to recapture the true essence of Christian living. Born the sixth of seven children to a Pentecostal preacher, Pastor Fowler was very intelligible concerning what it meant to serve a true and living God; if practice made perfect, then he would be recognized as our modern day Enoch – a prophet who pleased God.
Since being designed for God’s service during childhood, Pastor Fowler’s leadership role was initiated at the age of twenty-five. He was ordained as an Elder in May 1993, appointed Assistant Pastor in June 1993, and installed as Pastor in March 2000. He currently serves as Pastor of Tabernacle Memorial Church of God In Christ, Assistant District Superintendent of the Gus Martin District, and has evangelized in many cities, preaching the candid gospel message of “holiness or hell.”
Sunday School imparts basic biblical principles that are vital to church growth today. These biblical principles prepare students to hear and understand the gospel message. This class will offer valuable tools designed to increase church growth by stressing the urgency in delivering spiritual truths and knowledge that will help students develop and mature in Christ.
This class will present clear and concise initiatives designed to reach the mass of souls located outside the church walls. We will stress the importance of salvation, God’s love for us, and the benefits of a personal relationship with God. We will also emphasis the importance of continued learning and spiritual growth. Sunday school provides basic teaching but it has a tremendous impact in our lives. Therefore, Sunday School leaders are crucial in the development and cultivation of the saints. Sunday School will pave the way for saints to receive the powerful word of the Lord.
