Let all things be done decently and in order. I Corinthians 14:40

In order to have a progressive unified Sunday school class and Women’s Ministry, organization is the key. When all are aware of your vision and goal for a class, department, or service, it is more likely to be successful.

Introduction: Disorganization can quietly eat away, day by day, at your productivity. You may wonder, do employers, Sunday school students, whoever you lead, really care if you are organized? Indeed, they look for qualities such as abilities to multi-task, arrange priorities and meet or beat deadlines. Without organization, these qualities are difficult or impossible to demonstrate. Organization is the key in leadership. We, as Godly women in leadership, must endeavor to build on our inherent talents and strengths to help us become more effective, more confident and more successful in organization:

Objective: To develop a critical mass of women in Leadership who can articulate issues (organization) and effect changes in their organizations.

The God Given Goal: Is that every Woman In Leadership will leave this conference motivated and energized, armed with must- have organizational leadership tools guaranteed to make dramatic immediate impact on their Sunday School Department, Women’s ministry, or whatever field of work they are in.

Issues To Be Addressed:

I.                  Getting Organized, Develop a Personal Action Plan:

To become an organized person, you need to think like one so:

“Plan your work and work your plan”

Priorities are more important than ever

II.              Don’t Compromise Your Standards:

Loyalty, sincerity, enthusiasm and team play

III.          Paralyzed By Organizational Anxiety:

A.       (Overloaded before you even begin)

   B.      What hinders organization?

IV.           “Pareto’s Principle” (The 80/20 Rule)

This rule applies to the world of organization and I encourage you to apply it.

                        Benefits of being organized

V.               Conclusion/Discussion Starters:

Once you have mastered the “skills” of being organized, it is important to not to fall back on old habits and get yourself out of the organized regimen. Now, let’s take a look at Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”
