Introduction

Developing the Deborah(s) and Esther(s) within your ministry by duplicating yourself in women to be leaders in taking the Gospel to the world is what this class is all about.  This class will help embrace, train, and build women to learn how to keep things moving in a ministry in order for them to see the true leadership capabilities that they possess.

I.                   Duplicate yourself

a.       A true leader never wants to see the vision that God has given her fall.  In order for that not to happen, you have to see the vision as bigger than one person; that person being you.

b.      Leaders are not afraid to mentor others to do their job because once God elevates you someone has to continue what you left off.

II.                Beware of stifling creativity

a.       Surround yourself with thinkers.  Those that have brilliant ideas and a will to make them happen will make you look good every time.  John Maxwell calls this the Law of the Lid.  A leader may have several great ideas, but if he includes others who are of the same mind set their ideas will expand the possibilities.  Jesus said to his disciples that greater works will you do than me.

b.      Never fear those that God sends to you who are able to take a vision to the next level.  Praise them, incorporate them, encourage them, because that is what leaders do.

III.             Pushing the potential out of others

a.       As a leader, you must challenge those that you see potential in.  Both Gideon and Moses made excuses for why they could not, but God encouraged them that they could.

b.      Leaders recognize the anointing in others that they may not see.  You can draw that out of an individual, by studying what they are capable of and stressing that area in there life.

c.       Support those you are mentoring and training to be leaders during their failures.  Failure is nothing to fear.  It is the stepping stone to success.
