| • January 1, 2010 Housing and Registration should be taken seriously by every departmental worker. The department is requesting that every worker register platinum under the International Youth Department for the AIM Convention. The headquarters hotel for the IYD is the Westin Hotel which is beginning to fill. Rooms reserved for the IYD Executive Staff will be released by February 1, 2010 if Platinum Registration is not received. We will not be able to retrieve those rooms under any circumstances! |
| • February 28, 2010 It is vitally important that every departmental worker is represented in the AIM souvenir journal. All ads are $150.00 and should be submitted in Microsoft Word, JPEG, or PDF format by February 28, 2010. Please forward all ads via email to michagold7@aol.com. Forward all payments and ads via mail in CD format to 1104 S. Mary Peake Blvd, Hampton, VA 23666. (We must fully observe and execute the IYD Deadline for Ads.) |
| • February 28, 2010 Every person desiring meeting space of any kind for commissions and etc must completely fill out a Convention Event Request form and return it via email or fax by February 28, 2010. (Forms will be available on the Marketing & Events page Online. |
| • Special Request The President and Chairlady have put a renewed focus on the Young Women of Excellence Pageant. It is very important each Jurisdictional President and/or Chairlady strongly considers sending a representative from your jurisdiction to participate in this grand occasion. We are requesting that each of the Host Jurisdictions and supporting Jurisdictions have at least one contestant participating in the YWE Pageant. For more information please contact the Office of the Chairlady. |
| • IYD Crest and Blazer The IYD Crest and Blazer have become the official wear for the IYD. We encourage every President and Departmental Official to have this attire. |
