I am the president of the Home and Foreign Missions Department for the Kansas East Jurisdiction. One of the main goals for this year has been to send off care packages to the men and women of our jurisdiction that are currently serving in the armed forces. Since starting this endeavor, we have gained a deeper appreciation and understanding of all the sacrifices that are required not only for those persons serving, but also their families.
On behalf of the Home and Foreign Missions Department of the Kansas East Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop L.F. Thuston, we salute you on this great milestone and honor that has been bestowed on you. May GOD continue to richly bless you as you continue on in his service.
