  1. Mary Carter Johnson says:

I am proud to have been born into the COGIC Church. There are four (4) generations of Carter’s in this Church. I am a second generation.
Bishop Blake makes me proud. I am praying for all the leaders and the Church. Change is good. I prayed about the move to St. Louis and I know that it will be a great move. I know that Bishop Blake’s footsteps are ordered by God.

  2. Monica Blanton says:

Honor to God and to our leader, Bishop Blake. I thank God for the new and informational website. I love the interviews with Bishop Blake and the desire that he has to keep the Church of God in Christ moving forward. I hope there will be many more of this kind. Although the government should not govern the church, there must be a relationship and communication between the two for the greater good of the people. God will continue to order the steps of our leaders.
I’m so glad Bishop Blake has a vision and the ability to move the church forward in a changing world, but without compromising the gospel. May this motivation and enthusiam reach the many pastor’s, evangelist’s, missionaries, and lay members all over the world who’s churches have almost come to an halt because there is no vision, no innovative actions, and no true teachings that concern the lives and impact of people every day. It’s time for us to wake up! See the need! Move into action! Much love to all of our workers in the Church of God in Christ.

  3. Rhonda Keatts says:

I pray that all of our leaders steps are ordered by the Lord. In view of impending crisis and confusion over ongoing military interventions in the out most regions of the world, conflicts over health issues, coupled with the cultural, social and spiritual dilemmas of our nation,we certainly pray that our leaders hear from God.

  4. Rhonda Keatts says:

We pray sincerely that all of our leaders have an ear to hear from God, for such a time as this

  5. Vickie Heckard says:

Change is good when its instituted by God.

I want to thank God for Bishop and Sister M. Blake, an outstanding team you all make us proud. I have known the Blake’s for years and they have been a shining example for our church. Bishop, I wish every COGIC member would catch the vision and move with you into the 21st century. I envision God blessing the COGIC church to be the greatest body of baptist believers in the world. Bishop and Sister Blake our love and prayers go with you and may God give you long life and much success in the ministry as you lead us the Lord’s people.

  7. Linda a Beckett says:

I am holy ghost filled per the scriptures in the KJV bible since a small child. I have listened to Bishop Patterson’s messages for over 20 years. His messages have always paralelled with the teachings in my home church in Washington, DC. His messages have been a main stay in my household on Sundays before we went to church from BET. My children have grown effectively under COGIC beliefs. However, I don’t listen to everyone that I hear when the word does not line up with the bible. I have been blessed & highly favored this year…I was diagnosed with 2 anuerysms in Jan 2009. I am not suppose to be here able to walk, talk or be alive. But, God knew my belief & my faith has been rooted & grounded in Jesus, so as I tell folks now. Always, always, have your heart lined up with God’s word because you never know when or where you may need Him. I still have one aneurysm that is inoperable but my prayer was that as God heals the operated one, that He removes the other one that controls my 5 senses. I have been hospitalized for my challenges from the craniotomy & God has overturned every obstacle that was suppose to be negative..hallelujah!! Since I have been home, recuperating, I became more familiar with God’s word, like a fresh anointing each & everyday. I just thank God for the breathe of life, He gives me to share His word wherever I go. Strange thing happened that really upset me & I generally don’t listen to the opposition, especially if it is controversy about my God. I have a question, I have read the belief of COGIC, have listened to Bishop Patterso for over 20 years & he has always preached & taught per the bible on salvation…AMEN. Someone stated to me that Bishop did not believe in baptism in Jesus name, which I advised this was not true & it upset me quite a bit. I know I have many tapes & cd’s & dvd’s of Bishop’s but just can’t find one he preached on “why the we baptize in Jesus Name”. Can you please help me to clarify this annoying information??

  8. Linda a Beckett says:

How can you represent our President & he is not saved nor acknowledges our beliefs. What does the word of God have to do with the government other than financially??

  9. Linda a Beckett says:

If we are to remain a constructive influence in society, we must be guided by godly principles that penetrate the culture and bring glory to our God,” said Charles E. Blake.

I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for such a wonderful leader he has given us in Bishop Charles E. Blake. It’s not often you find a man with such vision and ingenuity. As stated earlier in the interview, most of the world receives information via INTERNET; with this tool functioning in our organization it allows its members access to information that might not otherwise be available.

    Thank You
