SMM Rally 2012

It is with great anticipation that we announce a day of celebration for the National SMM. This event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a social gathering (Café Corner), featuring poetry and spoken word, as we “rep” Jesus on the mic. At 7:00 p.m. the celebration begins with a powerful worship service, testimonials, talent and praise reports from SMM Alumni. The evening will climax with the Word of God from our own Executive Director, Supt. David Todd Whittley, of Chicago, Illinois. A short drive from Birmingham, Alabama, down I-59S, we invite you to worship with us and show your support for Scholastic Motivation Ministries (SMM) of the COGIC. Don’t miss it!

2012 SMM MATH OLYMPIAD

Mathematics and science are the foundation upon which rests America’s leadership in innovation and its economic prominence. During the past century, an “educated elite” provided the mathematics and science expertise required to build and sustain America’s economic and scientific leadership in a world whose focus has evolved from agricultural to industrial to informational technocracy. Competence in mathematics and science are thus essential to us as individuals and as a nation. Failure to improve and expand our mathematics and science base guarantees America’s immediate and accelerated decline in economic leadership and global influence.

The Achievers Hall of Fame

The Achievers Hall of Fame recognizes young people who exemplify the mission and vision of Scholastic Motivation Ministries by their academics, service to the community and leadership in the church. Inductees are selected based on information gathered from their completed application. In addition to receiving the award, the youth recipient will also receive a monetary gift.
